Space Wolf Lord Ragnar Blackmane

Wolf Lord Ragnar Blackmane, awash in the brightest lights I could find, is now finished and ready to lead my growing cohort of Primaris marines in to war. Enjoyed painting him so much that I am also considering getting the model again to have another go!

Also started adding a few dabs of snow to the model as well as the base to add to the effect, which I'm really enjoying the aesthetics of at the moment.

Adeptus Mechanicus Pteraxii Sterylizors

The Pteraxii Sterylizors 5 man squad, along with the Sulphurhounds, were the first models I purchased during the first lockdown of 2020. Unfortunately, the group takes up such a huge area that I couldnt get a decent group shot.

Still, fun to paint and positioned on tree stumps as I'm not a fan of the clear flying stand thing they come with.

Space Wolves Reivers

 

A completed pack of Reivers to join the ranks of my Space Wolves, complete with the wulfen claw to replace the original combat knives. Obviously this has no additional in-game benefit, but I think makes them look a bit cooler (and more terrifying) than they did to start.

Space Wolves Primaris Battle Leader? Wolf Lord?

Short and sweet for the update tonight. Taken from the Indomitus set, converted to be holding a Space Wolf specific storm shield and chainsword. Not sure what his role will be, just wanted to make the original model more wolf-centric.

Adeptus Mechanicus Serberys Sulphurhounds

Up this week are the Sulphurhounds I have painted for my Ad Mech force that is, slowly, beginning to grow in size. Really enjoyable models to paint, may have to get some more of these in the future once I've seen how these guys do on the battlefield.

Work In Progress - Stormwolf Base

In the interesting world of my mind, I have decided that an interesting base will improve the model it is hosting. It is with this theory in mind that I have started on an ambitious project of creating a scenic base for my Stormwolf to be flying over.

The idea is that it will, eventually, be a rocky outcrop with a flow of water over it. The drop will provide a waterfall down to the base level. Confidence levels are high on the painting side of things, not so sure on the water creation but we all have to start somewhere hey!

The last shot above shows the position of the Stormwolf in relation to the scenery on the base, which keeps it a good bit clear of it!

Work in Progress - Space Wolves Judiciar

I had a Judiciar model waiting to be built and inducted in to the ranks of my Wolves, but I wasn't overly keen on the initial model, so I have made a few changes.

The sword is now an axe, with the model showing the head of the beast that he has just taken.
