Firstly I would like to start this post by apologising for the Dad joke in the title. I don't know, I am sorry. I shall control the urges to use poor pun titles in the future... if I can.
Anyway, these guys are unarmed as they are all magnetised, which will allow this to be my most flexible unit if I ever get truly stuck with WYSIWYG. At the last count I have 18 left arms, 18 right arms and 1 cyclone missile launcher. Combinations-a-plenty there.
Outside of the magnetisation (which I did two years ago, even before I started this blog) they are just your standard terminators. It is good to finally see them with some colour on.
Now to get painting those arms so we can see what these guys look like all tooled up! Till next time, take care folks!

What size magnets did you use on them?
ReplyDeleteFirstly my apologies Hyena, I have just got back from holiday and have been reading through the comments and saw your question. The magnets used are the Rare Earth magnets, 3mm dia x 1mm thk type. Some of them are 2mm thk as I got fed up of the glueing my fingers to the models using the thinner magnets. Hope that helps!
